About The Position

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES : Fundamental responsibility to ensure product safety and quality as it applies to all duties listed below: All related paperwork Taking readings (all bottle measurements) Running the blow molder and all downstream components Cleaning molds Assist with changeovers Evaluates and takes appropriate action to maintain a safe work environment with established standards and guidelines Inspect work areas, and look for unsafe acts/conditions Effectively use verbal and written communications Maintain a clean and safe working environment Perform sweeping, cleaning, sorting duties as necessary Perform all duties in accordance with safety rules and procedures

Requirements

High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds continuously throughout the shift
Work involves continuous lifting, bending, reaching and twisting
Willingness to be trained on the following before starting their duties: Blow mold basics 6 wk. Operator Training Course, subject to a formal evaluation at 3 weeks, 6 weeks, and additional periodic intervals by the Trainer and Supervisor and decisions will be made accordingly
This position requires the cognitive and mental ability to multitask in a fast paced environment with attention to detail.

Mechanical Aptitude a plus.
