Position Summary The Backstage Hospitality Assistant ensures artists and crews have an excellent experience on show days. You’ll prep and maintain dressing rooms, fulfill rider items, coordinate catering, and respond to real time needs, working closely with stage management and production. About the Venue The Historic Palm Springs Plaza Theatre located in the heart of Downtown Palm Springs, California, re-opened on December 1, 2025 after a $34 million dollar restoration. The theatre hosts 120+ events per year including hosting the Palm Springs International Film Festival, Palm Springs Symphony, Palm Springs Gay Men’s Chorus, Modern Men: Coachella Valley Men’s Chorus, Palm Springs Pops Orchestra, Modernism Week, Palm Springs Jazz Festival and many national touring acts. The theatre capacity is 700 seats.
