About The Position

Traffic Coordinator Shift: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm What You’ll Do Schedule, coordinate, and track all backhaul loads with drivers, carriers, and vendors. Maintain accurate records of all inbound and outbound backhaul shipments. Communicate load details, appointment times, and route changes to drivers and dispatch in real time. Update internal systems with load status, delivery times, and exceptions. Verify backhaul documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and delivery receipts. Collaborate with procurement, warehouse, and transportation teams to identify backhaul opportunities to reduce transportation costs. Monitor carrier performance and escalate service issues as needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety requirements, and DOT regulations. Support other administrative tasks within the Traffic department as assigned. Requirements

Be a safety champion by promoting a safe and productive workplace through your own actions, including the proper use of PPE, safe operation of powered equipment and safe lifting techniques as determined by the role.
Be an active participant in contributing to a successful safety culture in the facility.
High School Diploma or equivalent
Excellent computer skills.
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook required.
Customer service experience.
Excellent phone skills including professional phone presence.
Excellent writing ability
Expert problem solving skills, with ability to interact with customers and follow through quickly with problem resolution
Ability to work in warehouse/office environment.
Flexibility to work earlier or later to complete daily tasks.
Self-starter who is motivated and works well independently with little supervision

Nice To Haves

Experience with AS400, WMS, and SAP preferred.
