About The Position

Job Title: Sr Full Stack Engineer \/ Technical Lead – on site Location: SF\/Bay Area, California working at a Software Development for Pharma Startup. The Scope\/Responsibilities of Role: System Design: Designing, building, and maintaining scalable backend systems in a production environment. AI Implementation: Rapidly learning and applying new techniques in LLM development (fine\-tuning, RAG, and prompt engineering). Collaboration: Working across teams including product managers, medical writers, and customer success to translate requirements into technical solutions. Interview Stages : 3\-4, includes a take\-home code assessment. Mission: Accelerating drug development timelines to bring treatments to patients months faster. Hyper\-Growth: Trending at 9x year\-over\-year growth and already working with a handful of the top 20–50 big pharma companies. High Impact: A small team of 7–8 people building products that shape how tens of thousands of people work in $100B+ organizations.

Requirements

• Backend Experience: 3+ years in software development; proficiency in building APIs from the ground up using modern Python frameworks (FastAPI, Django, etc.).
• AI\/ML: Experience building GenAI applications, complex prompt engineering, data pipelines, evaluation frameworks, and RAG.
• Cloud & Infrastructure: Experience deploying\/scaling containerized applications in cloud environments (AWS preferred) and building CI\/CD pipelines.
• Soft Skills: Ability to reason through ambiguous requirements and execute quickly without extensive oversight.

Nice To Haves

• Infrastructure\-as\-Code: Experience with Terraform or Pulumi.
• Regulated Industry: Secure coding practices from industries like fintech or life sciences.
• Frontend: Experience with React development.
• Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of regulatory requirements in life sciences or similar.
