About The Position

Back Up Custodian (Open to 1 st or 2 nd Shift!) INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY Overall Objective: Provides cleaning services within buildings and grounds by completing tasks such as emptying trash cans, removing debris, wiping down/dusting dock doors and various equipment, cleaning rest rooms, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, and performing basic equipment repairs. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Follow all Crown Packaging safety and health rules and regulations, and wear or use required protective equipment while working Report hazardous conditions to the management Report any job-related injury or near miss Collect and dispose of cardboard and other materials from production and warehouse areas Clean copiers, windows, sills, and door panels weekly Restock all rest room, and cleaning supplies when product delivers Clean offices, hallway, lobby, rest rooms, breakroom, conference room and other work areas daily Operate compactor, baler, shredder, and other equipment in accordance with safe operating instructions Sweep, mop, wax floors, dust furniture equipment, vacuum rugs, carpets, and replace light bulbs Ensure all areas around trash units, shredders, compactors, truck driver entrance, and office areas remain clean and organized Support the supervisors and lead personnel with maintaining cleanliness in major travel lanes Maintain cleanliness outside of the facility (main entrance, parking lot, smoking area, and truck lot) Provide weekly supply orders to accounting or management personnel Shovel snow from steps and walkways

Requirements

• Consistently at work and on time
• Must be able to stand 8-10 hours a day constantly
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs. occasionally
• Demonstrate thoroughness in all duties performed
• Self-driven and able to monitor their own quality of work
