We are hiring for Medical Assistant/Lab Float positions at a medical office near you. Schedule: Monday- Friday 8:00 am- 5:00 pm Every other Saturday 8:00 am- 12:00 pm This is a Medical Assistant Floater position for Volusia County. The offices included in Volusia County are Sanford, Saxon, Deland, and Courtland. They will primarily be floating within these offices, but may also be required to cover locations outside of the listed offices. Pediatric Associates was founded in Hollywood, FL in 1955. PRIMARY FUNCTION The Floater will perform quality team-based patient care under the direct supervision of a clinician for both clinical and administrative functions to promote health and wellness in a safe and friendly environment. Supports clinician and care management teams in assessing, maintaining chronic disease management, examining, and treating the pediatric patient population. The Laboratory Medical Assistant Floater is responsible for performing all laboratory testing procedures and phlebotomy, including venipuncture, finger sticks, and heel sticks. This floating employee will be working in various offices to support in either the MA role or a dedicated Lab station.
