The Back of House Specialist enhances the customer experience by managing back of house operations and omni service processes. This role involves prioritizing product flow and replenishment based on merchant impact, adhering to processing and tagging standards, and supporting timely visual execution. The specialist is responsible for maintaining organization in both the sales floor and back of house, strategically processing order queues to prevent backlog, and utilizing store technology to ensure a seamless omni-channel shopping experience. Additionally, they maintain packaging standards to exceed customer expectations. The role also encompasses leading and executing the product flow process, overseeing back of house standards for efficiency, maintaining cleanliness in all receiving, shipping, stock, and supply areas, and adhering to safety standards, inventory accuracy, and company policies to support profitability. They oversee the omni process to ensure fill rates and brand standards are met, manage organizational standards for supplies, technology, workstations, order staging, and pickup areas, and facilitate the transfer of online products back to the warehouse. Communication with the leadership team regarding Omni, shipment, restock, and back of house organization is crucial, as is proactively escalating issues and collaborating to maximize efficiency and maintain service level agreements.
