Additionally, they maintain packaging standards to exceed customer expectations. This role involves understanding how the merchant process impacts business and prioritizing product flow and replenishment accordingly. The specialist strategically processes order queues and daily workload to prevent backlog, limit cancellations, maintain proper customer touchpoints, and prioritize fulfillment of expedited orders. They adhere to proper processing and tagging standards while maintaining visual merchandising standards and support timely execution of product placement and other visual priorities. The role requires keeping the sales floor and back of house clean and organized, effectively using store technology, and leading and executing the product flow process, including shipment receipt, processing, security tagging, preparing product for the floor, and placing product. The specialist oversees back of house standards, exercises decision-making to impact organization and efficiency, and keeps all receiving, shipping, stock, and supply areas clean and organized. They must adhere to the store’s safety standards, inventory accuracy, reduction of product loss, and uphold all company policies and procedures to support the profitability of the store. The role also involves overseeing the omni process to ensure fill rates are maintained and brand standards are followed, managing organizational standards related to supply needs, technology, workstations, order staging, and pickup areas, and facilitating the transfer of online products back to the warehouse. Communication with the leadership team is essential, sharing relevant information regarding Omni, shipment, restock, and back of house organization to ensure task completion. The specialist proactively escalates issues that may impact meeting company standards and collaborates with the store leadership team to share progress on results, articulating support needs to maximize efficiency. They set an energized pace to establish and maintain omni-channel standards and service level agreements.
