About The Position

The BaaS Operations Support Specialist provides essential administrative and operational support to the Banking-as-a-Service (BaaS) Operations team. This role assists with day-to-day tasks, client support activities, compliance monitoring, and operational processes to ensure smooth delivery of banking services. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn about the fintech and banking operations environment.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Sit or stand at a computer for long periods of time and look at a computer screen for several hours a day
  • Work at an assigned FinWise office location
  • Communicate with others in person, on the phone, virtual meeting and email
  • Maintain confidentiality
  • Lift 20 lbs.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance
  • Work overtime assigned

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily monitoring of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Support payment processing, account setup, and troubleshooting operational issues.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for operational workflows and compliance requirements.
  • Assist with Invoicing partners and gather all required documentation including but not limited to refining the overall process for easier, streamlined invoicing.
  • Provide administrative support for client onboarding and program setup.
  • Respond to partner inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior team members.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of partner requests, tickets, etc.
  • Help monitor adherence to compliance standards and report discrepancies.
  • Assist with monitoring our partner programs to ensure data integrity, compliance, and reviews are timely and accurate
  • Ensure Themis is updated accordingly with partner reviews of marketing items, expected reports are received timely for each partner, and other partner tracking items as needed.
  • Compile operational data for internal reporting and performance metrics.
  • Ensure data integrity of partner’s data by monitoring any relevant changes or discrepancies or other anomalies.
  • Confirm receipt of daily reporting files and troubleshoot missing files from our partners
  • Review Azure implementation boards and cross-reference with our templates and add missing tasks and acceptance criteria
  • Schedule partner meetings, prepare agendas, and maintain project timelines.
  • Support cross-functional collaboration between other stakeholders who are supporting our programs
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth operations.
