About The Position

LeadingResponse is a performance marketing company that connects consumers facing some of life’s most impactful decisions with nearby financial, legal, senior living, and elective medical professionals who can provide timely, insightful guidance. We are looking for a passionate, energetic, and dedicated content marketing intern interested in learning how to effectively engage, educate, and nurture those consumers during their journey through our funnels. This is an opportunity to join an organization that specializes in marketing and consumer lifecycle optimization with decades of experience and hundreds of nationwide clients. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in expanding their knowledge of digital marketing, excel at multitasking, and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage changing priorities and multiple projects in a fast-paced setting. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to learn new skills while honing your writing and social media marketing talents. The internship will require a time commitment of 40 hours per week – this is a hybrid opportunity based in Atlanta, GA being primarily remote with some in-person commitments.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree (B. A.) in marketing or journalism, or a recent graduate from an accredited four-year college or university.
  • Ability to demonstrate a solid work ethic and ambitious attitude while working remotely.
  • Self-disciplined, organized, and in command of strong time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office required.

Nice To Haves

  • Candidates that can demonstrate familiarity with WordPress, SharePoint, Canva, HootSuite, Surfer, and a standard SEO monitoring tool (like Ahrefs or SEMRush) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with various marketing initiatives, including content development, social media management, SEO monitoring, analytics, and B2C website maintenance.
  • Comprehensive training will be provided across content marketing disciplines, including writing, editing, SEO, monetization, and organic competitive analysis.
  • Assist in developing, scheduling, and tracking performance metrics for organic social media posts in collaboration with the B2C content and paid social marketing teams.
  • Identify key areas where you can contribute to completing department projects/initiatives through research, insights, and ideation contribution.
  • Respond to user-generated questions, inbound messages/emails, and ad comment replies for all organic marketing channels.
  • Use internal monthly metrics to accurately measure lead quality, conversion rate, search traffic/impressions/clicks, etc. on organic marketing channels.
  • Develop an understanding of the company's target personas for evergreen legal practice areas.
  • Attend virtual meetings and contribute to cross-team collaboration workstreams as needed.
  • Blog maintenance: Update content calendar, conduct keyword research, write and edit posts.
  • Research new SEO/AI visibility trends, document best practices, and make suggestions for incorporating any learnings into our B2C content marketing strategy.
  • Ensure brand consistency and legal compliance in consumer-facing online marketing materials.
