About The Position

Marketing Content Interns are responsible for promoting the Blue Eagle Credit Union brand through creative content, including illustration, video, and other artistic formats. During this project-based, 90-day paid internship, the intern will utilize approved marketing messages to develop social media posts and grow our target audiences.

Requirements

  • Over 18 with High School Diploma
  • Experience running social media platforms for a club, business, non-profit or other organization
  • Experience using Canva
  • Experience with Google Applications: Docs, Sheets, eMail, Calendar
  • Clean driving record
  • strong interpersonal skills with ability to maintain effective working relationships with all levels of leadership, employees, members, vendor partners, etc.
  • excellent oral and written communication skills
  • ability to be detail-oriented and organized
  • excellent at performing multiple tasks simultaneously, meeting deadlines, and establishing priorities
  • high level of skill in handling sensitive and confidential situations/information with a demonstrated ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • excellent time management skills
  • strong quality service focus and great team player
  • computer literacy (Google Applications and Microsoft Office, including intermediate skills with Excel)
  • Anywhere between 20-40 hours a week, as necessary for the project.
  • The position may require travel to various Blue Eagle markets.
  • Regularly required to sit and/or stand for extended periods of time every day. Walk and stoop occasionally.
  • Use hands and fingers. Reach with hands and arms.
  • Talk and hear.
  • Lift or move up to 30 pounds, occasionally.
  • Close vision and ability to focus.
  • Extended period of screen time

Responsibilities

  • Completes assigned projects in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Create branded creatives to promote on different social media platforms.
  • Provides exceptional service when responding to members and potential members' financial needs and inquiries, always representing the Credit Union in a courteous, professional, and positive manner.
  • Attends or completes initial and ongoing compliance training assigned for this position; successful completion will be documented.
  • Complies with all Federal and State rules and regulations, as well as all Blue Eagle Credit Union policies and procedures, including but not limited to those defined in the Employee Handbook, ("The Eagle Flight Plan").
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Leadership.
