About The Position

Education at the Frick seeks to welcome everyone by removing barriers to engagement, in fulfillment of Henry Clay Frick’s wish for a museum “to which the entire public shall forever have access.” The Ayesha Bulchandani Undergraduate Education Internship provides a superb opportunity to participate in many day-to-day aspects of museum education work in a small, dynamic department. Interns’ primary responsibility will be to research, write, and deliver gallery talks to the general public. They will also play an important public-facing role by supporting and staffing programs, such as studio workshops, lectures, seminars, gallery talks, online programs, and free nights. Interns may assist with research support for the department, as well as other administrative and program-related duties. Additionally, interns will participate in a wide range of enrichment sessions, including introductions to the permanent collection and the resources of the Frick Art Research Library, opportunities to interact with staff across the institution, and a reading group on topics in the field of museum education.
