About The Position

Capgemini is seeking an experienced AWS Tech Lead to drive the design, development, and delivery of serverless applications within their cloud ecosystem. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, hands-on expertise in AWS serverless technologies, and the ability to guide a distributed development team. Requirements

  • 8+ years of software development experience, with at least 3+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Strong expertise in AWS Serverless Stack: Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, IAM, EventBridge.
  • Proficiency with Node.js and TypeScript.
  • Experience in designing event-driven architectures.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and operational best practices in AWS.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with experience guiding offshore teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical design and architecture discussions for AWS-based solutions.
  • Oversee development of serverless components built using AWS Lambda, API Gateway, Step Functions, and EventBridge (AWS Events).
  • Provide hands-on development support using TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Ensure secure implementation of services using AWS IAM and best practices.
  • Collaborate with product owners, architects, and offshore developers to ensure high‑quality delivery.
  • Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance system performance.
  • Coordinate daily with the offshore team and ensure aligned progress against milestones.
