About The Position

KPMG Assignment Select is geared toward independent professionals interested in temporary or project-based work. Our team is comprised of highly trained third-party professional individuals who are in the right place, at the right time, with the right skillset. KPMG is working through its partnership with MBO Partners and is currently seeking a remote contractor in the United States.

Requirements

• Proven experience as an AWS Architect with a strong focus on AI/ML solutions; AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional
• Strong understanding of AWS services and best practices for cloud-based AI solutions
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar; experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, Kubernetes; strong knowledge of database technologies (SQL and NoSQL)
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with large-scale data processing frameworks (e.g., Apache Spark)
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Nice To Haves

• Hands-on experience with Lucia 2.0, including deployment and integration is strongly preferred
• Familiarity with other AI/ML tools and platforms
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, Java, or similar; experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, secure, and robust AI solutions on AWS
• Utilize AWS services such as SageMaker, Lambda, ECS, RDS, and others to build and deploy AI models and applications; optimizing for performance, scalability, and security
• Work closely with data scientists and AI/ML engineers to understand requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring best practices in AI and cloud architecture
• Optimize AI and machine learning models for performance and cost-efficiency
• Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery for AI solutions
• Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold the firm's respectful and courteous work environment
