We are seeking a highly experienced Cloud Solution Architect to lead enterprise-scale cloud transformation, migration and optimization initiatives. The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of experience designing and implementing scalable, secure, and cost-efficient AWS-based solutions, with strong expertise in DevOps, Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and enterprise application modernization This role required hands-on implementation, ensuring robust, compliant, and cost-effective cloud environments across the full lifecycle of cloud adoption.

Requirements

  • Cloud Platforms: Amazon Web Services (AWS): EC2, ECS, EKS, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, Route 53, CloudWatch
  • DevOps & IaC: Jenkins, GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
  • Security & Identity: HashiCorp Vault, Prisma Cloud, OpenLDAP, Amazon Cognito
  • Middleware & Databases: Micro Focus Enterprise Server, IBM WebSphere, Tomcat, JBOSS, IBM DB2
  • Scripting & Automation: Shell scripting, Python, Jython, Apache Ant
  • Monitoring and auto-remediation scripting with CloudWatch and custom scripts

Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end cloud migration and modernization projects from on-premises to AWS.
  • Architect scalable, resilient, and secure AWS cloud environments aligned to business and technical requirements.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, including the development of reusable modules.
  • Define and drive cloud cost optimization strategies, including compute right-sizing, storage tiering, and usage monitoring.
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub, and container orchestration platforms.
  • Manage and deploy containerized applications using Docker and ECS
  • Administer enterprise-grade workloads on various middleware platforms and database such as Micro Focus Enterprise Server, IBM WebSphere, JBOS, tomcat and IBM DB2.
  • Integrate and manage cloud-native security and identity solutions like OpenLDAP, Active Directory , HashiCorp Vault and Amazon Cognito.
  • Establish comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting using Amazon CloudWatch, Dynatrace etc. along with auto-healing mechanisms.
  • Participate in architectural reviews, risk assessments and technical strategy discussions.
