About The Position

Lead and oversee the data engineering AWS infrastructure, and drive the development, implementation, and maintenance of the organization's data infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Play a pivotal role in ensuring the availability, reliability, and scalability of data systems to support business analytics and operations.

Requirements

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
Proficiency in AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, VPC, IAM.
Experience designing and managing continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines
Proficiency using IaC tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible to automate the provisioning of cloud resources.
Proficiency using source code control systems such as AWS CodeCommit, GitHub.
Programming skills in Python for automation, and scripting to streamline workflows and infrastructure management.
Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms and technologies, such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
Understanding of data governance, data security, and data privacy regulations.
Leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of DevOps engineers.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to architect scalable and robust cloud solutions.
Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to perform essential functions of the position, with or without a reasonable accommodation.
