About The Position

AWS Cloud Engineer Key Role: Manage, administer, support, and enhance cloud environments, ensuring continuous improvement and rapid problem resolution. Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance. May review or guide the activities of more junior employees.

Requirements

Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining software applications or virtual machines
Experience using Linux operating systems or Bash scripting
Knowledge of AWS core services such as EC2, S3, or Lambda
Knowledge of AWS networking concepts, such as VPCs, subnets, or security groups
Ability to deploy and maintain AWS environments and resources
Ability to work in an Agile, team-based environment using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Ability to obtain a DoD IAT Level II or Level III Certification within 60 days of hire date

Nice To Haves

Experience with Java, C, C++, or Go
Experience with build automation, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, or DevSecOps
Experience interacting with AWS APIs programmatically, such as Boto3
Experience writing and maintaining CloudFormation templates
Experience in diagnosing and resolving issues within AWS environments
Experience with software or systems architecture
Knowledge of IAM roles, policies, users, and groups
DoD IAT Level II or Level III Certification
