About The Position

Strategic Insight, Ltd. is seeking an Awards Ceremony Professional Support Specialist to support the Department of the Navy (DoN) acquisition awards programs. This position provides programmatic, administrative, and data management support to ensure effective execution, oversight, and continuous improvement of DoN acquisition awards initiatives. The role includes coordination with senior leadership, commands, and stakeholders across the enterprise. Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience providing administrative, program management, or executive support services, preferably within a DoD or DoN environment.
  • Experience developing and managing data tracking tools, dashboards, or workflow processes to support program oversight and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Department of the Navy or DoD policies, instructions, and correspondence processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience drafting formal instructions, correspondence, and briefings.
  • Experience supporting or coordinating with multiple commands or organizations across an enterprise environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in business administration, public administration, communications, management, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a bachelor’s degree.

Nice To Haves

  • Demonstrated experience supporting awards programs, ceremonies, or nominative programs is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop optimized data management and transformation tools to execute more efficient management and oversight over DON acquisition awards programs
  • Initiate, develop, draft, and submit DON instructions for various nominative programs for government approval, and plan and coordinate awards ceremonies
  • Generate, manage, and track the annual awards programs
  • Support government management of awards channels and mailboxes in a timely manner
  • Support reoccurring collaboration and status meetings with the Government, providing action and status reviews and updates
  • Support coordination meetings with DON commands
  • Review prior year lessons learned and apply corrective courses of action to current year POA&M activities
  • Perform duties as assigned
