About The Position

Spurwink is hiring hard-working candidates like you to become an Awake Night Direct Support Professional in Gorham. The required schedule for this position is: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 8pm to 8am. DSP's learn to deliver care to adults with intellectual disabilities and jumpstart a fulfilling career with plenty of opportunity for advancement. They will help clients develop and strengthen interpersonal and coping skills, while guiding them in creating positive relationships with family and peers. In this role, Direct Support Professionals serve as an invaluable role model to adults with disabilities.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
All applicants must maintain a current driver's license and a clean driving record as outlined in Spurwink's Driving policy.

Responsibilities

Provide support to adults with intellectual disabilities in agency homes, including medication administration, assisting with activities of daily living and personal care, community integration, and providing positive behavioral supports.
