The Division trauma Services AVP works closely with the Clinical Services Group Trauma Services AVP for the National Group and Division CMO to carry out the CSG trauma Services and Mountain Divisions mission. The Division AVP leads development on strategies and tools to advance clinical performance in defined sectors of trauma services and system development. This position collaborates with the Division officers and leaders of other division service lines to promote the mission. To ensure appropriate alignment of performance improvement, growth, compliance and technological advances, the AVP works with he facility senior officers and the facility Trauma Medical Director, Trauma Program Director and other Trauma Services team members. The Division AVP serves as a professional expert on trauma services to ensure the delivery of optimal quality trauma patient care as defined by national and state standards of practice. The position ensures trauma center readiness and compliance with the American College of Surgeons and state trauma center regulations. Additionally, the position has oversight of registry data, performance metrics, and research initiatives that produce exemplary optimal quality outcomes and performance for the trauma centers in the division.
