About The Position

The AVP, MarTech Solutions will lead the strategy, design, delivery, and growth of marketing technology solutions for clients across the Sports, Media & Entertainment (SME) ecosystem. This role combines delivery leadership, capability building, and business development, with a strong focus on driving measurable outcomes across fan, subscriber, and consumer journeys. The Director will act as a trusted advisor to clients, build high-performing MarTech teams, develop accelerators and proof-of-concepts (POCs), and partner with sales and industry leaders to expand MarTech adoption across Sports, Gaming, Media, and Entertainment clients.

Responsibilities

  • Delivery Leadership & Execution Oversight
  • Provide end-to-end oversight of MarTech engagements, ensuring high-quality delivery across strategy, implementation, integration, and optimization phases
  • Own delivery governance, timelines, risk management, and client satisfaction for multiple concurrent programs
  • Act as executive escalation point for complex delivery or stakeholder issues
  • Capability Development & Innovation
  • Build and evolve MarTech capabilities within the Sports, Media & Entertainment practice
  • Drive ideation, creation, and incubation of accelerators, reusable assets, frameworks, and POCs tailored to aid cross-sell growth opportunities
  • Define best practices, delivery playbooks, and standards for MarTech implementations
  • Mentor and upskill teams on emerging MarTech trends, tools, and methodologies
  • Team Building & Leadership
  • Build, lead, and scale high-performing MarTech teams across strategy, functional, technical, and delivery roles
  • Support hiring, onboarding, performance management, and career development of MarTech talent
  • Work closely with onshore/offshore/nearshore teams where applicable to ensure delivery excellence
  • Stay current with leading MarTech platforms and ecosystems (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce, Braze, HubSpot, Google, etc.) and their relevance to SME use cases
  • Business Development & Growth
  • Support growth of the SME MarTech portfolio through RFP responses & solutioning
  • Lead or contribute to prospective client presentations, pitches, workshops, and executive conversations
  • Partner with industry and account leaders to identify new opportunities within existing and new clients
