About The Position

CFSB is an OCC-regulated federal savings bank at the forefront of fintech, payments and lending. The AVP, IT Project Manager role will be responsible to oversee projects and support the Central PMO team. Specifically this role will focus on the implementation IT related projects to support strategic initiatives. The individual will ensure timely and accurate tracking of execution in line with internal commitments, while ensuring there is appropriate governance and oversight as we execute through these initiatives.

Requirements

Strong analytical skills.

Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
Ability to work on-site 2-3 days per week.
3+ years of experience in project management.

Responsibilities

Prepare, update, and implement plans to support key strategic initiatives.
Identify key areas for improvement.
Support special projects and program buildouts.
Work closely with senior management on relevant updates.
Promote organizational culture and work to improve the overall health of the organization through employee engagement, collaboration, and values alignment.
Responsible to support the day to day management of executing to milestones on one or more projects.
Assess project risk potentials and discover potential problems before they occur.
Apply a proactive approach in routinely tracking the project participant progress against project goals.
