The AVP/Facilities and Real Estate is responsible for maintenance, improvement, and ongoing performance of the Credit Union’s physical facilities, ensuring a safe and productive workspace for employees. This position is also responsible for managing construction projects, which can include new branch locations or the upgrade of existing buildings. Reporting to the Chief Strategy and Innovation Officer, the AVP/Facilities and Real Estate oversees the Facilities Technician and Mail Room. In addition, the AVP/Facilities and Real Estate supports long-range space planning and member growth strategies for physical locations. This position manages vendor relationships ranging from landlords to maintenance companies (i.e. HVAC, security, janitorial) while ensuring permits, licenses, and contractual requirements are met. This role proactively seeks program efficiencies that improve the member and internal customer experience while controlling expenses and make significant contributions to ensure commitment for unparalleled service – the kind that creates the Unitus difference.
