About The Position

As a Citi Global Wealth Management (CGW) Private Bank Treasury Management Sales Associate, you will provide added sales support to a team of seasoned CGW Private Bank Banking & Treasury Management Sales Specialists. These Sales Specialists work closely with CGW Private Bank Banker teams across the Americas to assist in generating new Deposit & Treasury Management business from existing & prospective clients across the Americas. The successful Sales Associate candidate must possess knowledge of general business banking, depository & treasury management solutions. Objectives/Fundamental Responsibilities: Preparing & presenting comparative fee analyses, product proposals & RFP’s Following up on inquiries from clients & bankers regarding Banking & Treasury Management services Client deepening & proactive uncovering of new business opportunities Conducting online banking tutorials & demonstrations to clients Visiting clients/prospects alone or with the Sales Specialists and providing post meeting follow-up Preparing client relationship review materials & presenting them with Sales Specialists Submitting, tracking & following up on implementation requests (new product additions, maintenance requests & termination of services). Manage Treasury Management and Liquidity pipeline. Routinely connect with product and implementation partners. Coordinate strategic trainings and internal demos for internal staff on platform functionality. Attend weekly treasury channel calls and disseminate summaries of key topics Establish billing for implemented services and monitoring billing and account analysis requests Continually focus on personal growth & development – targeted trainings, development courses, seminars etc. Ad hoc financial projects and monthly business reviews for the sales head

Requirements

  • Possess a minimum of 3-5+ years of banking experience
  • Current or previous role as a Treasury Management Implementation Specialist, Associate, or Service Officer, a plus
  • Experience working with Commercial, Middle Market, Corporate or Wealth Clients a plus
  • B.A./B.S. (required)
  • Knowledge of treasury management products, banking & the client sales cycle
  • Awareness of Wealth Management (preferable, but not required)
  • High degree of professionalism
  • Strong written, listening & verbal communication skills
  • Attention to detail and consistent follow-up skills
  • Ability to prioritize and display general responsiveness at all times
  • Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) designation and/or willingness to pursue a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, DocuSign, Adobe internet applications & Salesforce Sales Management tools

Nice To Haves

  • Current or previous role as a Treasury Management Implementation Specialist, Associate, or Service Officer, a plus
  • Experience working with Commercial, Middle Market, Corporate or Wealth Clients a plus
  • Awareness of Wealth Management (preferable, but not required)
