Role Objective: Maintain and repair airframes and related components, including flight controls, hydraulics, fuel systems, and mechanical components. Conduct the disassembly of aircraft by removing components, cleaning/inspecting and properly tagging parts for inventory. Essential Job Tasks: Perform aircraft maintenance, inspections and repair in accordance with regulations, manufacturer instructions and company policies. Applies technical knowledge of aircraft systems to effectively troubleshoot and determine system and equipment malfunctions. Maintains records in compliance with FAA and Company standards. Maintains premises of the shop facility in a clean and organized manner. Maintains equipment and tools in serviceable and working condition. Performs many other duties as assigned

Requirements

FAA Airframe and Powerplant License with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
Excellent computer skills.
Must pass airport security background checks and travel for work as required
Certification of air data systems on RSVM-certified aircraft
Must be able to read and write English and have good communication, writing, and problem-solving skills
Must be able to pass DOT required pre-employment drug test
Three (3) years proven experience in a similar position
High School diploma or GED
Has no certificate action since the date of the interview
Has no misdemeanors or felonies since the interview date
Ability to read, analyze, interpret and understand technical procedures and governmental regulations, sometimes quickly and under stressful or emergency situations.
Able to effectively present information to and respond to questions from management, dispatch, crew, air traffic control, and the general public.
Able to speak and be understood in English, including shouted verbal commands during emergency situations.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Capable of interpreting a variety of multiple instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Must be able to remain calm, think and react quickly in all types of emergency situations.
Makes decisions to support strategic direction.
Able to process information quickly and react in a positive manner during unexpected and/or serious situations.
Capable of controlling personal and emotional responses and acting appropriately under high levels of stress.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S. and be at least 21 years of age by 1/1/20.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Gulfstream G-IV, Challenger 604, Hawker 800/900XP, maintenance preferred.
Bi-lingual in Spanish is a plus
A&P Certification preferred
