About The Position

The Avionics Modification Manager is responsible for end-to-end execution of all avionics-related modification activities within the Boeing 777 Passenger-to-Freighter (P2F) conversion program. This role ensures integration of engineering, production, testing, and certification while maintaining schedule, quality, and compliance.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in heavy aircraft avionics modifications
• Leadership experience in MRO or modification environments
• Strong knowledge of EWIS, avionics systems, and troubleshooting
• Ability to interpret complex engineering drawings

Nice To Haves

• Boeing 777 experience
• P2F conversion experience
• A&P License or equivalent
• STC / ODA / DER experience

Responsibilities

• Own full avionics modification scope across assigned aircraft or lines
• Lead execution of avionics systems including cargo systems, flight deck modifications, and connectivity upgrades
• Drive schedule performance aligned with program cycle targets
• Act as primary liaison between engineering and production
• Oversee system testing, troubleshooting, and certification readiness
• Ensure compliance with FAA regulations and approved engineering data
• Lead cross-functional coordination across structures, systems, planning, and supply chain
• Drive risk mitigation and issue resolution
• Maintain a strong safety and operational culture
• Perform related duties as assigned
