Avionics Electrical Design Engineer

Stoke SpaceKent, WA
4h$95,550 - $193,620

About The Position

At Stoke, we believe that a thriving space economy leads to a vibrant, sustainable, and equitable future here on Earth. That is why we are building our fully and rapidly reusable vehicle, Nova. It is designed to fly daily and solve the core challenges of space transportation – it reduces cost, increases availability, and enhances reliability. By radically lowering the cost and increasing the cadence of launch, we’re able to create a truly scalable space industry. Our team is mission-driven, collaborative, and empowered with ownership of their work. If you want to work with some of the most dedicated and talented people on Earth, come join us. Description The avionics system is the backbone of highly reusable, operable, and reliable space systems. As an Electrical Design Engineer at an early-stage startup, you will be responsible for flight hardware from conception through build, qualification, and ultimately flight operations. You will work closely with the rest of the development team and other stakeholders to design and implement the avionics architecture, continuously iterating and improving your designs. You will seek out state-of-the-art solutions to difficult problems and assist in defining company standards for avionics development. You must be ready to stay focused, move fast, self-direct, and learn on the fly.
