About The Position

Requirements

  • A combination of qualifications equivalent to: high school graduation and verification of enrollment in an accredited public or private college, university, or community college with a minimum of six academic semester units or eight academic quarter units.
  • Must have ONE of the following: a. AA Degree or higher b. A minimum of 48 units have been completed (transcript required) c. Paraeducator Exam Certificate (high school setting, not elementary)
  • Valid Government Identification
  • After the offer of employment, obtain: a. Criminal Justice and FBI Fingerprint Clearance at the candidate's expense b. Negative pre-employment drug screen test through the District's provider at the District's expense c. Pre-employment physical exam through the District's provider at the District's expense d. Negative TB test result at the candidate's expense plus periodic post-employment retest (currently every four years) as required through the District's provider at the District's expense e. Must complete any mandatory training assigned by the District that is generally applicable to all classified employees or employees in this classification in particular
  • Must have ONE of the following: a. AA Degree or higher b. A minimum of 48 units have been completed (transcript required) c. Paraeducator Exam Certificate (high school setting, not elementary)
  • Additionally, you must be enrolled in college in a minimum of 6 semester units or 8 quarter units. Verification of Enrollment will be required.
