About The Position

The Aviation Support role provides integrated program coordination, quality assurance, and administrative support to ensure successful execution of aviation training system activities. The individual supports day-to-day program operations, enabling effective coordination, compliance, documentation, and reporting across aviation training, testing, sustainment, and support efforts. Responsibilities include coordinating, scheduling, and documenting program meetings; maintaining action items, decisions, and status trackers; and supporting Quality Assurance (QA) activities in accordance with approved Quality Assurance Surveillance Plans (QASPs), maintenance plans, and test procedures. The role tracks aviation training device utilization, configuration status, and inventory and maintains program databases, schedules, and performance reports. Additional duties include managing and tracking Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs); supporting invoice review and administrative processing; assisting with Subject Matter Expert (SME) coordination; and providing administrative and logistical support for test events, evaluations, maintenance reviews, and training activities. The Aviation Support assists with monitoring contractor performance, ensuring deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule, and supports preparation and staffing of program documentation. The role serves as a key execution and coordination resource, ensuring program activities remain organized, compliant, and transparent, and enabling the Aviation Program Lead to focus on strategic oversight and stakeholder engagement.

Requirements

  • Active Secret Clearance
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of experience supporting aviation programs, flight training, program coordination, QA, or administrative functions within a DoD, Federal Government, or defense contracting environment
