Market intelligence and supply risk management: Responsibilities include managing price and demand forecasts, gathering market intelligence, maintaining knowledge of logistics, identifying supply sources, coordinating with operations and supply teams, managing customer hedging, and price exposure management. Candidate evaluation criteria: Key attributes include proven leadership with the ability to navigate dynamic business environments and build trust; strong business acumen with knowledge of jet fuel markets and commercial savvy; an enterprise mindset to align strategies across the value chain; and excellent relationship-building and communication skills with airline customers and internal stakeholders.
