About The Position

HEICO Repair Group Aerostructures, a recognized leader in the repair and overhaul of aircraft structural components, is currently seeking a Quality Control Inspector to join our high-performing team. This position plays a key role in ensuring that all repaired components meet rigorous FAA, customer, and internal quality standards. The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting aircraft structural components at various stages of the repair process to ensure compliance with technical specifications, regulatory requirements, and company procedures. Duties include conducting visual and dimensional inspections, reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy, verifying repairs against work instructions and drawings, and ensuring all parts meet airworthiness standards before release. The Quality Control Inspector will work closely with technicians, engineers, and supervisors to uphold a culture of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance throughout the facility. Requirements

  • Airframe or powerplant license preferred, but not required
  • Must be able to understand, read and write in English
  • Must be thoroughly familiar with all inspection methods, techniques and equipment used in their area of responsibility to determine the quality of airworthiness on articles undergoing maintenance, preventive maintenance or alteration
  • Must be proficient in the use of the various types of inspection aids used for inspection in their area of responsibility
  • Must be able to verify that the specifications, manuals and other data used during inspection procedures are current and approved for use by HEICO
  • Must be able to read and interpret Component Maintenance Manuals to follow manufacturer's instructions
  • May be required to move, lift or push components weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequently required to sit or stand for long periods of time.
  • Must be proficient in the use of MS Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook
