Together. Every day. CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Aviation Project Engineer to join our Infrastructure – Aviation Team at our Indianapolis, IN office. What You'll Do: Every airport, regardless of its size, depends on a unique set of facilities and infrastructure to meet the specific needs of their community, stakeholders and partners. The CHA team excels in delivering specialized airside, landside, and facility-related planning and design. We bring a wealth of experience to our aviation clients so they can continue to be viable assets to the communities they serve. The Aviation Project Engineer conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, the professional in this role works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements. The Aviation Project Engineer monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. This individual identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments. The Aviation Project Engineer completes field assignments when appropriate. Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required
• Minimum of 3 years of related engineering experience is required
• Demonstrates a strong working knowledge of the respective engineering field as well as proven ability to practically apply it in a professional environment
• Proficient in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
• Understands QA/QC procedures
• Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
• Desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist more senior staff
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office software required

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred
• Aviation experience preferred
• Participation in a professional engineering society/organization is preferred
