We are currently seeking a dynamic and self- motivated individual to join our team as Coordinator in our Airport Operations Center. Global is an equal opportunity employer. Position Overview: Airport Operation Center hours- 07:00-23:30 – 7 days per week We are in search of an ambitious and proactive coordinator that will provide support to our Airport Operations with handling personnel sick calls, operational coverage, and daily coverage reporting. AOC Coordinators work rotating shifts from 07:00–13:00 and 13:00–23:30, with a standard schedule of four 10-hour shifts per week (minimum). Team members must be available to work at least one morning shift and one evening shift each week. Scheduled days off may vary. The successful candidate will be: A strong communicator adept at liaising with stakeholders at all levels. Comfortable with high call volume and persistent follow up. Able to rely on experience, sound judgement, and critical thinking to plan, organize, and implement goals and objectives. Ideal candidates will have a positive outlook and a keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail. Members of our airport operations center team are highly motivated, detail oriented, organized, able to multitask and meet strict deadlines.

Requirements

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States and have IDs needed to verify

Nice To Haves

  • Previous Aviation or call center experience is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Handling all incoming calls to the airport operations center
  • Following established protocol for handling, documenting and reporting sick calls to operations management
  • Following established protocol for sourcing, confirming, and daily reports of coverage for all vacant posts
  • Reporting possible service failures to AOC manager and station manager in a timely fashion
  • Maintaining current contact lists, and employee status or eligibility
  • Communicating in a timely fashion any issues or incidents that are reported into the AOC by security officers or supervisors
  • Assist the team with special projects as needed
