About The Position

Emery Air, LL. Aviation Ground Support Services Division is seeking several high energy, self-motivated individuals to add to our team of aviation ground support professionals to primarily work Wednesday - Sunday from 2pm - 10:30pm. Located near Chicago, a premier Midwest provider for aircraft maintenance and repair, avionics and full FBO services and commercial ground support handling. Requirements

Must be 18 years old
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be willing to take and pass a pre-employment drug screen
Must be willing to work any shift in a 7 day operation, including nights, weekends and holidays
Candidate must be able to clear a fingerprint-based criminal history check in order to obtain and retain credentials necessary for the position. Position specific clearances include but are not limited to FAA, TSA, Port Authority
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
Reliable, punctual attendance is essential function of the position
A valid clear driver's license
Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly

Responsibilities

Providing basic service for aircraft, e.g., fuel, oil, lavatory, water, etc.
De-ice and Anti-ice aircraft
Marshaling planes through arrivals and departures
Greeting pilots, passengers and crew
Moving aircraft
Driving vehicles in areas congested with moving and stationary aircraft, vehicles and equipment
Transporting clients
Assisting with baggage
Ensuring hangars, tarmac and client areas are kept clean and orderly
Ensuring a safe environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Maintaining facilities and equipment
Providing all around top-quality service
Fuel quality control functions
