The AV Solutions Engineer is a member of the Global Technology Services (GTS) team. The Engineer reports to the Senior Manager of Collaboration out of the NY office. The AV Solutions Engineer is responsible for project launch, coordination and completion. The specialist will play a key role in standardizing equipment, strategies, and overall large projects working in conjunction with our real estate and technology teams. In addition, the engineer will oversee the preventative maintenance, upkeep and escalations for all conference areas throughout our global footprint.

Requirements

  • 3+ years’ experience in AV system design, room integration, and project management
  • Advanced understanding of AV system functionality, integration, programming, and techniques
  • Proficiency with Office 365, project management software, and CAD
  • Extensive knowledge of video networks, video over IP, switching, DSPs, audio distribution, and control processors
  • Creative problem‑solving, logical deployment skills, agility under pressure, and strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to read and comprehend project technical documents including engineering and architectural designs, timelines, acoustical reports, and construction documents
  • Excellent communication skills, customer service skills, and organizational skills

Responsibilities

  • Project schedules, risk management, and communicating goals to project stakeholders
  • Coordinate with teams across the globe to ensure project delivery, budget, and installation management
  • Upgrade firmware, coding, and uphold industry standards for all equipment
  • Coordinate with partners to schedule techs, programmers, and engineers for deployment
  • Assist with project handover, managing pending project lists, project reports, and programming bugs/issues
  • Work with construction teams, vendors, consultants, and field teams to deliver global design
  • Provide documentation including change requests, expenditure requests, timelines, milestone notifications, and project handover
  • Troubleshoot urgent escalations, software issues, and other related issues pertaining to completed projects
  • Manage tasks, finances, personnel, and partners to successfully deliver project objectives
