About The Position
We are seeking a Part-Time AV/Event Technician to assist with setup, operation, and strike of audiovisual equipment at various live events. This is an ideal role for someone with basic AV knowledge, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn in a collaborative team environment.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of basic audio systems and lighting equipment (signal flow, wired and wireless mics, speakers, LED lighting, DMX, etc.).
- Ability to lift equipment (up to 50 lbs.) and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and punctuality.
- Flexible schedule – Must be available for evenings, weekends, and irregular hours depending on event needs.
- Experience in live events, theater, or concerts is a must
Responsibilities
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of audio, lighting, and LED video walls.
- Operate sound systems, stage lighting, and LED software such as Arena and NovaLCT
- Load and unload gear safely and efficiently.
- Follow instructions from senior technicians and crew leads.
- Maintain equipment and ensure proper cable management and storage.
- Support the overall execution of live events in a professional and timely manner.
