AV Engineer
About The Position
We are seeking a Systems Engineer with a strong Audio‑Visual to support a large‑scale conference room technology rollout within a newly constructed corporate building. This role will focus heavily on AV conference room systems, with responsibilities spanning design support, programming adjustments, testing, and field coordination during the final phases of construction. This engagement is project‑based and expected to run through the end of the year, with potential additional work contingent on future initiatives. Supporting the completion of a new facility conference rooms requiring AV technology Installation work is handled by a third‑party integrator; this role focuses on engineering, programming, and oversight This role is an augmentation to support workload volume and delivery timelines Because work takes place in an active construction environment, required PPE (steel‑toe shoes, hard hat, gloves, etc.) will be provided.
Requirements
- 5–10+ years of experience in AV systems engineering, design, or programming
- Strong understanding of AV signal flow, control systems, and enterprise conference room environments
- Experience supporting AV deployments across large facilities or multiple locations
- Proven ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences
- Comfortable working in fast‑paced, on‑site environments, including construction settings

Responsibilities
- Support AV conference room system design, configuration, and deployment
- Assist with AV system programming, including updates and customization as needed
- Develop and maintain code modules, logic, and touch panel layouts
- Collaborate with engineers, installers, and project stakeholders
- Conduct system testing, validation, and quality checks
- Troubleshoot and resolve AV and control system issues
- Maintain documentation, standards, and system design records
- Participate in design reviews and technical discussions
