Requirements

Must have Valid State BSIS California Guard Card.
At least 18 years of age or older.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills.
Familiarity with report writing.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Monitoring and surveillance experience.
Essential Computer Competencies.
Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
Comfortable with Outdoor Environment in Diverse Weather Conditions.
Must successfully pass Pre-Employment Background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

Must remain alert at all times, observe their surroundings, looking for signs of suspicious activity, potential threats, or disorderly conduct. Ensure all employees, contractors, and visitors badge is visible at all times.
Acknowledge unusual activities and investigate further or report it to the appropriate personnel.
Responsible for monitoring access points. Check badges or identification to ensure only authorized individuals enter the appropriate buildings that they have access to. Unauthorized individuals have to go through the screening process until verified. No tailgating is allowed. All employees, visitors and contractors must individually swipe their access cards wherever there are card readers.
Trespassers are promptly addressed and removed from the premises.
In case of emergencies (medical incidents, accidents, fires, etc.), must be able to take swift action. Assist with evacuations, provide first aid, or call for help.
Familiarity with emergency protocols and communication systems is essential.
Be able to act as a visible deterrent against criminal activity to ensure the safety of others
Conduct patrols on all platforms, parking lots, and other areas to prevent theft, vandalism, or other crimes.
Must be able maintain detailed records of incidents, disturbances, or any unusual occurrences.
Accurate notetaking helps with investigations and ensures proper follow-up.
Able to interact with employees, visitors and contractors, providing assistance and information when needed.
Politeness, patience, and clear communication are essential for positive interactions.
Provide excellent customer service which could include giving directions, opening doors and greeting employees, visitors and contractors in a proper manner.
