About The Position
Securitas is hiring for Unarmed Entry Level and Experienced Security Officers. The role involves observing and reporting activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Security Officers maintain a safe and secure environment by actively monitoring premises, including patrolling various locations. They preserve order while enforcing regulations and directives for a client site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and the area. Additionally, Security Officers frequently provide customer service and information to a client’s employees and customers. Securitas is driven by corporate values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, which guide their actions and mission to protect homes, workplaces, and communities. No prior experience is necessary, and training will be provided, making it suitable for individuals with retail, food service, or hospitality backgrounds.
Requirements
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills
- Pass our drug screen and background check
- Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard
- Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain
- Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
