Autonomous Vehicle Operator - Evening shift
About The Position
Royalty Staffing is hiring Autonomous Vehicle Operators in Miami for a growing ride-hailing company. This role offers an opportunity to be at the forefront of realizing autonomous mobility. The company is seeking disciplined, team-oriented operators committed to achieving the mission. As a Vehicle Operator (VO), you will gain experience in vehicle and personnel operations, observe the operational complexities of autonomous mobility, and contribute to its future development. The position offers bonus pay for weekend shifts (5% per hour) and night shifts starting at 3:30 p.m. or later (an additional 5% per hour, totaling 10% on weekends). The work environment is onsite/field in Miami, FL, with an ongoing contract duration and a pay rate of 25.00 USD per hour.
Requirements
- Basic vehicle knowledge to perform vehicle checks
- Ability to drive for long duration (6 hours in the car per day)
- Basic technology ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to pass a typing test, 45 WPM
- Must pass a Motor Vehicle Check with zero tickets or accidents within the last 3 years
- Proactive mindset and resourcefulness
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical experience
Responsibilities
- Support vehicle operations
- Drive 4-8 hours a day with a priority on safety
- Conduct basic software operation tasks
- Support missions through a wide variety of roles in and out of vehicles
- Assist with documentation and metrics
- Provide accurate written and oral feedback to engineering teams
- Support vehicle maintenance and logistics
- Conduct daily basic vehicle preventative maintenance checks, services, and repairs
- Provide logistical support for the movement and storage of vehicles and equipment
- Ensure the readiness and cleanliness of vehicles, equipment, and the workplace
- Assist with paperwork and documentation related to vehicle readiness
