The Warranty Administrator is responsible for preparing, recording, and submitting warranty claims to the factory and/or distributor. This includes reconciling warranty claims and submitting them to the appropriate party. We don't take a "one-size-fits-all" approach regarding our employees' Benefits . Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure accurate and complete documentation. Verifies the criteria required by the factory or distributor. Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule. Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receives authorization to write them off. Follows up on payment of outstanding claims. Tracks warranty parts by tagging with the repair order number, the date of replacement, and the date on which the part may be disposed of. Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory, distributor, or scrapped. Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor. Keeps informed of all factory recalls and bulletins. Requirements At least 2 years of experience with warranty work preferred Automotive Dealership experience is preferred Technical knowledge of vehicle service to verify proper documentation of repairs for warranty coverage and payment. Strong customer service skills are a must Must have computer proficiency Ability to pass a pre-employment background check, MVR, and drug test Must have a valid driver's license Our company maintains a strong policy of equal employment opportunity for all associates. Requirements

  • At least 2 years of experience with warranty work preferred
  • Automotive Dealership experience is preferred
