Due to remarkable growth, Johnson Subaru of Cary has the exciting opportunity to expand our team with the addition of a Full-Time Valet. To help keep up with the increasing consumer demands in a fast-paced environment, we are seeking friendly individuals with a strong desire to provide outstanding customer service to our guests! Requirements
- Must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced, high pressure environment.
- Ability to drive manual transmission
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to work in a team environment
- Exhibit a neat, clean and professional appearance
- Possess excellent verbal communication skills and speak proper grammar
- Positive attitude, outgoing personality a must and a friendly demeanor
- Have excellent Customer Service skills
- Must have flexible schedule, including weekends
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs, continuous physical exertion for intermittent periods including walking and/or standing for long periods of time, vision abilities including close/distance, hearing abilities to safely hear and react to machinery, other vehicles etc.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test, background check, driving record check and we E-Verify.
Responsibilities
- Greets all customers entering the service area with a friendly, upbeat attitude, answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location
- Controls sales traffic flow and parking
- Determines if customers coming in for service or sales
- Obtain proper paperwork for customer and escorts them to the waiting area
- Maintains a clean and safe service drive area, free of dirt, water, leaves, snow, etc.
- Drives customers to their desired destination and picks them up after their vehicle repairs are complete
- Uses good judgment and safe driving skills
- Assists passengers getting in and out of their vehicles
- Helps to keep the coffee bar area clean and replenished
