About The Position
Do you want to begin a career in the Automotive Field? Have you ever entertained the idea of becoming a technician, but aren't really sure how to break into the field? Successful Apprentice/Express Service Technician applicants of Bobby Rahal Motorcar Company will have the opportunity to serve the public representing Mercedes-Benz, while working for one of Pittsburgh's most recognized and respected organizations. You will have the opportunity to learn from and work with some of the best Technicians and Shop Foremen in the automotive industry! As an Apprentice/Express Service Technician, you will:
Requirements
- You need to have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help out your fellow service team members.
- Detail oriented and excels in a fast-paced, results driven environment
- Minimal technician experience or recent tech school graduated
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Successfully pass a pre-employment background and driving record check
Nice To Haves
- A valid state safety and emissions license is preferred.
- Experience with inspections & emissions, oil changes, general tire services, and familiarity with automotive services preferred, but not all are required
Responsibilities
- Perform quick lube duties on maintenance and repairs
- Perform maintenance on vehicles, as assigned
- Perform test drives
- State inspection and emissions licenses can be provided by Team Rahal!
- Give other team members a helping hand with their duties, as needed
- Other service department duties as assigned.
