About The Position

Carvana is seeking experienced automotive mechanics with a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience to join their team as an Experienced Auto Technician. In this role, technicians will perform a full range of automotive repairs and diagnostics on vehicles, from light maintenance to heavy engine work. This includes general to complex repairs on all makes and models, diagnosing and repairing advanced vehicle electrical issues (including electric and hybrid vehicles), and completing repairs for wheel bearings, axles, and vehicle climate control systems. Requirements

Minimum of 3 years of professional automotive repair experience
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools
Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently
Must be at least 18 years of age
Possess a valid driver’s license
Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing production environment
Ability to work while sometimes being exposed to excessive weather conditions (heat/cold)
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check

Responsibilities

Perform a full range of automotive repairs and diagnostics on vehicles
Perform general to complex repairs on all makes and models, ranging from timing belts and suspension systems to heavy engine work
Diagnose and repair advanced vehicle electrical issues, including work on electric and hybrid vehicles
Complete repairs for wheel bearings and axles, as well as vehicle climate control systems including ACs and heater cores
Work mandatory overtime based on business needs
