RESPONSIBILITIES Examine vehicles to diagnose problems and determine repairs and maintenance needed Estimate time and cost of repairs Provide recommendations to service advisors regarding customer vehicles Communicate with Parts Department to obtain necessary parts Perform all repairs thoroughly and efficiently in accordance with company and factory standards Communicate with service advisors regarding the status of service work and the estimated time of completion so that customers can be informed Road test customer vehicles to ensure that repairs are completed satisfactorily and that problems are resolved the first time Ensure that customer vehicles are returned clean and undamaged Properly complete documentation of repair orders Strive to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction Maintain training required by manufacturer Stay abreast of factory technical bulletins Comply with all company safety policies and procedures Use of phones or earbuds is forbidden while working on vehicles! Comply with driving laws when operating company or customer vehicles Maintain an organized and safe bay that meets dealership, OSHA, and EPA standards Be able to account for dealership-owned tools and equipment always Maintain a professional appearance QUALIFICATIONS Manufacturer certification Commitment to customer satisfaction Must provide own tools Valid driver’s license Background check
