Requirements

  • 1+ year of automotive experience (Volkswagen/Audi/European preferred)
  • ASE certifications preferred
  • Strong diagnostic background
  • Previous leadership, dispatch, or foreman experience a plus
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Clear verbal and written communication
  • Clean & valid driver’s license
  • Willing to submit to a drug screen & background check
  • Must be able to perform the essential duties of the role with or without reasonable accommodation

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience as a Volkswagen, Audi, or European-brand technician
  • Prior lead, foreman, or high-level diagnostic experience strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced diagnostics, high-quality repairs, and maintenance on Volkswagen and other European vehicles
  • Tackle challenging electrical, mechanical, and drivability concerns with accuracy
  • Complete all warranty, recall, and customer-pay work to Volkswagen factory standards
  • Partner with service advisors to ensure clear communication and proper repair recommendations
  • Road-test vehicles to confirm safe, smooth, Volkswagen-worthy performance
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and efficient shop environment built for productivity
  • Serve as the primary technical expert and go-to resource for the shop
  • Provide real-time support to technicians on complex diagnostic or repair concerns
  • Review repair orders prior to submission to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance
  • Monitor workflow, dispatch work as needed, and help maintain efficient production levels
  • Assist with onboarding, training, mentoring, and developing technicians at all skill levels
  • Maintain communication between technicians, advisors, and management to ensure smooth operations
  • Uphold Volkswagen factory standards, safety protocol, and dealership-wide quality expectations
  • Model professionalism, teamwork, and a commitment to getting the job done right the first time
