About The Position

The first and only Genesis dealership in Portland, Genesis of Portland, is finally open for business! We are interested in hiring a couple of Automotive Technicians/Mechanics to join our dealership! Working for Genesis of Portland, you can expect a steady flow of billable hours and above-industry benefits. Working as an Automotive Technician/Mechanic, you would be responsible for diagnosing our client's vehicles and repairing them to customer/manufacturer specifications. The ideal candidate would have prior Hybrid/EV experience with an ASE Certification. Why Work for Us? Plenty of work and billable hours Monday - Friday Schedule Access to multiple lifts and stalls. Requirements

• Driver’s License
• 1-3 years of prior automotive experience.
• Personal Tools.
• Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record, able to pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screen.

Nice To Haves

• Certification preferred
• ASE Certifications

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and complex repairs on import vehicles.
• Diagnose issues accurately and provide timely solutions.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth operations in the service department.
• Other duties that may arise within the Service Department.
