About The Position
Provides service, maintenance and repair work on light-duty vehicles and equipment with minimal supervision. Furnishes own hand tools.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Four (4) years combination of education and experience as an Automotive Maintenance Technician
- Furnishes own hand tools
- Valid driver's license
- EPA Section 609 Certification
- ASE A4 & A5
Responsibilities
- Performs preventative maintenance services in conformance to manufacturer specifications
- Diagnoses, repairs, and order parts for light-duty vehicle and equipment systems
- Responds to roadside calls
- Conducts road and static test to verify repairs
- Delivers and picks up vehicles from outside vendors for repairs and services
- Maintains a clean and orderly shop
- Follows the city policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
- Performs other duties as assigned
