About The Position

Teach students in the Auto Technician program where you will prepare students for careers as technicians. The program includes hands-on training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining automobiles and light trucks, often involving live vehicle projects. This position is for Fall 2026, with a start date of August 18th, 2026.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary diploma or equivalent certificate in automotive services technology.
  • Four full-time (or equivalent) years of verified related paid work experience in automotive service technology.
  • One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field. The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) postsecondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
  • Current ASE certification in the areas in which the faculty member is teaching.
