About The Position
Automotive SERVICES TECHNOLOGY Instructor Unlimited Full-Time Start date: August 17, 2026 Minnesota North College-Hibbing Campus is seeking an unlimited, full-time Automotive Services Technology instructor who is committed to excellence in teaching and learning; using active and experiential learning strategies; creating a student-centered environment; commitment to teaching students with a wide variety of backgrounds and working collaboratively with colleagues to create a successful student-learning environment. Position duties include but are not limited to: Ability to move/transfer 50 pounds or more. Instruct courses including Customer Automotive Repair, Shop Management and Supervision, and Transmission and Transfer Case Controls. Work Location: Minnesota North College – Hibbing Campus. Salary Range: $52,586 - $73,690/annually This salary range is for initial placement only. If currently teaching within Minnesota State, current salary will remain the same .
Requirements
- Post-secondary diploma or equivalent certificate in automotive services technology.
- Four full-time years (or equivalent) of verified related paid work experience in automotive services technology.
- One year of this work experience shall be within the five years immediately preceding the date of application for the credential field.
- The recency requirement shall be waived if the individual has two years of successful full-time (or equivalent) post-secondary teaching experience in the credential field within the last five years.
- Current ASE certification in the areas in which the faculty member is teaching.
- All new faculty must complete the teaching and learning requirement during their probation period.
- Ability to move/transfer 50 pounds or more.
